With the reconstruction in early spring is Clue 8 still there?
Author
Every clue should still be in their location
Clue 12 is no longer there
Has anyone found a red handled digger? I probably left it at the last clue number 13.
I know: Rookie mistake.
Hooray the hunt is back. Looks like a long drive again but it’s worth it!
Cindy does it again !!
O’Kane Park fit the clues, then it was narrowing it down to the roots, and detecting the locale. Dan was close! In the end, I popped out the token and
I want to thank Brian Henry for challenging us with another fun hunt!
Congratulations, Cindy!
Oh this one is getting good! I can’t wait to finally find it this time. I’ve been so close a number of times.
Congratulations to Cindy for coming out on top (again). Great hunt Brian, the clues were very challenging. Looking forward to the next hunt.
Went there a couple times in the past week. Found plenty of evidence of other hunters. This is some really tough ground. Not many targets of trash or coins etc. Had hoped to find the token before the snow flies, but alas no joy. As for water… is it the lake, the irrigation ditch, a water fountain, a sprinkler head or should I try snorkeling or scuba? Hmm, 12 to 15 feet, could do snorkeling, but scuba would give me more bottom time.

You’re more than welcome to go under water. But I wouldn’t recommend it. 😉
Beautiful Park… Now we need a bit more, or two bits more!!
Found both the photo clues but they look like they are pointing to parallel lines to me. Parallel lines meet at infinity so I checked the parking lot for an Infiniti. Only a Lexus. I’ll keep looking “To infinity and beyond!”
While Alan Bravo found the treasure token, and congratulations Alan, Cindy and I found something even more valuable…she and I met and made a new friend. Good finds or no finds, it’s about the fun and the friendships.
Hot on the trail, lots of ground to cover, spotted the root, but didn’t find the token-yet!
Where are you? Lol
im clear on #1 and #2 . #3 has me a little stumped………..hmmmm
Congratulations Winn! This was a difficult search with all the junk signals and few good one proving out.
Well done and well earned.
Joe
Saw lots of evidence of other TH’ers diggings, some good some poor. This park is being worked! Better get out and put in your efforts soon.
I got up early… there was no worm.

Went out today for about 4 hours of digging trash (got a big pouch full). This seems typical of a new park made from old green belt rough. Oh, I did get one dime and two
Zinc’n Lincolns. 🙁 (Happy B-day to me! Woo Hoo!)
Also passed by the new clue (though I didn’t know that was what it was at the time.) This is a tough hunt so far…
When are you going to post the next clue

#9 hunt is complete and I have the token! Utah Park where the last clue pointed, is where it was 5 inches down, came up like a penny. It was in between 3 pine trees with the score board not too far away. Thanks again Brian for all the fun!
I know you tossed it in the middle of the lake
Author
Cindy gotcha again!
Okay I’ll bring it to the meeting tomorrow night after I find it…….hopefully.
Guess I better get out there, I’ve known the park for over a week and the competition is already hunting it.

Second time out here long way to drive haven’t found it yet hope I do
Beginning to see the picture…but I’m probably not alone.
5/1, traipsed all over the area and then some, still no match on the rock in clue 6. Token is still at large…
Author
Perhaps you need to rethink things. Perhaps going back to the beginning and start over, perhaps.
OK, will do. I’m starting to get the picture…(I hope.)
Four of us looked for clue number 6 for two hours in the wind and rain.
The token is still safely hidden
Author
You couldn’t find the clue or couldn’t find the coin? Or both?
That is correct
Could not find the clue to find the token
The token rests safe for now
HH
Was out there today (4/13), the token is still at large.
FYI There are 3 countries and cities with the same name Denver Boulder and Broomfield

There are only two “City and County” distinctions in Colorado. But there are several counties with a town of the same name. Not the same thing.
Have a great day and Happy Hunting,
Brian

Woo Hoo I found it! This was the 5th trip to the park and after about 1 hour the token was finally able to find me! It was exactly where the clues led us to and was not difficult to extract. Great hunt Trackerbrian!
Went back for a short visit on 7/15. Dry ground, lots of trash, almost no goodies. Met a chap from the Springs that had been there from 11 a.m. to about 5 p.m., he had found a few dollars in coin and a 14K but that was about all. I must be using the wrong bait, this token just won’t give me a nibble. Will have to be ‘Tenacious’ to ‘Track’ this one down.
Found the park but found no token! All I found was $14 and 14k in 3 tries. The token cannot find me!
Sat down and solved the clues last night(7/10). Not too hard with all that was posted. Went out tonight (7/11) for an hour or two and worked the site. .. no joy yet. Will be back again.
Hunt #6, hit the park, found 7 dollars in quarters, 3 rings, a Gold-N-Detectors token worth $2.50, but no Tenacious Treasure Tracker Token. Still do not understand the Iowa hint, but the other clues fit perfectly….luckily for the other ‘trackers’, I live far from that park and have a job. Brian, thanks again for the fun of “The Hunt”.
Looks like I should skip work tomorrow and go detecting!

After tonight’s clue it will be “Early Bird Gets the Worm”
Where is it? Where is it? Where is it?

In the ground, in the ground, in the ground!
It’s obvious that more than one person didn’t get the memo: There is NO digging allowed in Denver County Parks. The exception being playgrounds and dirt areas-flower beds and construction. We are allowed probes and or a slim screwdriver.
To add further insult people are buying the trash back in the hole or leaving it on the ground.
Our best defense to the Park Rangers has been picking up trash and leaving no evidence of our retrieval.
Let’s not give the Rangers a reason to close the parks to detecting, again
People are not baring their holes. I found a 1853 seated dime. Still have not found token
Anybody find it yet

As of Noon today 3/29/2016, the hunt coin has not been found.
Tried searching where the snow was blown away during the blizzard and the sun did it,s job melting away the snow. No token found 🙁 But Did dig a surprise of three small 10k rings with horseshoes and/or diamond chips from one hole. Wow! And the search/fun continues… Was there on Friday. Happy Easter.
Fraser William And I are going to find this tomorrow!
Guess what I found today? At Sherwood Hills Park, I picked up a nice token!
Thanks Brian for another great treasure hunt!
